Before I give any more advice, I need to mention that once I read that if the "character" of your typical headaches change, you should be seen IMMEDIATELY.
Go to an urgent care or ER... they will help you and still require that you follow up with an MD anyway.
Address the anxiety issue with the UC. That is all part of treating these.

Two sinus surgeries -- both did not require cutting and were done by "scope." Nasal rinsing with Nell-med plastic rinse bottle and salt packets now are productive. First surgery -- MOLD was found growing in sinus and pseudomonas cultured. Second surgery opened nasal passages more. Now I am headache-free, but still cannot go outside much due to very painful dry sinus conditions.

So I've had symptoms of constant head pressure for over 10 years. It started after getting hit a few times while boxing. Headache started about a week later. Went to the doctor who sent me to a neurologist. He gave me Amitryptiline which worked for about six months then stopped even with increased dosage. He tried Effexor which worked for only a couple months and then pretty much no other medications (I tried a lot of different ones) tried made a difference.
It decreases and increase in intensity based on stress, lack of sleep, etc. Not taking anything for it now. MRI and CT both came back clean. My neurologist gave up so I went to a headache clinic that recommended Botox. I tried a couple rounds of that (not botox, but some nerve block substance) and those didn't work either. Really at a loss about what to do next so any suggestions would be much appreciated.

10 years?!? I’ve been going through this for 4 months and it is annoying. Same as everybody else with going to the hospital and getting a a CT which was fine. You might be on to something with increase and decrease depending on lack of sleep or stress.
Mine increased within the last few days ever since I stayed up until 2-3 am a few days ago. I do notice this and I want others to share....during exercises and playing basketball. I feel almost normal without any of the pressure. Or at least the pressure becomes less and less during exertions? Curious to see anybody else’s experience with that.

I've been experiencing a lot of these same symptoms for about 10 months and am finally starting to get some answers that I thought may help others. My symptoms have included constant head pressure (sometimes mild, sometimes more pronounced) in various parts of my head (temples, behind my eyes and nose like a sinus infection, back of my head, band around my head, etc), light headedness, feeling disoriented or out of it, forgetfulness, fatigue, nausea, pulsing behind my eyes (papilledema), tingling in my hands and feet, etc, and the doctor thinks I may have "benign intracranial hypertension". I had gone to the emergency room back in January because I was getting so scared and they did a CT scan that came back normal so I then went to my normal doctor and they tried prescribing several anxiety medications, which did nothing. I finally had enough and went back to my doctor this past week and am now going to have an MRI this Thursday. My doctor said all of my symptoms sound like intracranial hypertension, which I am still freaked out about because it is a rare brain disease, but at least they're having it investigated further. If any of you are still having similar symptoms, it's something to think about and have checked out. It often affects women of "child bearing years" who are also overweight.
