Hi, I currently live with my stepdad but I need some help. How can I tolerate or even bare to stay 5 minutes in a room with him? He gives me all this unnecessary work to do around the house and prevents me from going places and spending time with friends. Can anyone please give some advice on what to do because I am nearly at the stage of where I want to run away and to not return

Hi Boom,
Having chores to do is normal and helps contribute to the family household.
He may not understand how to deal with kids, if he didn't have any of his own. Talk to him about it, don't go through your mom - you don't want to put her on the spot. Running away won't do anything to help you long term.
Your friends will just have to accept that you have responsibilities.
