I am 22 years old and have been dealing with the exact same thing since I was about 9 years old. I also get bright red splotches all over my body when I'm hot or stressed. Several doctor's have told me that it's Raynaud's. Also, interestingly, my neighbor has the same exact phenomena as I do, and went to a different doctor, and was told the same thing! So basically just try to keel your circulation going and move around when you can. It won't fix the crazy colors, but you also don't want to get a blood clot from poor circulation. Good luck and hope this helps! :)

I'm 14 and I also have this. Most people say it's like normal and probably different severity for different people but it's nothing to worry about :)

I'm 16 and have this same problem. My skin will turn a purplish color with blotches of orange and pink and red. But sometimes my hands go numb and my legs will go numb with it. A lot of people say it could have something to do with circulation. My friends mom is a nurse and she said it could be a circulation problem, but I really have no idea if that's the case. I'm going to get a check up in two weeks, so my mom is going to ask about it.

i live somewhere where they turn the air conditioning on even during winter, and i have to go to school wearing skirts because it's the uniform, and i always have to try to hide my legs because they always have purple/red blotches on them and its so obvious. Exercising helps, but it only goes away for a while. If I dont expose it directly to the cold, its not that bad. I've had this for about 4 years and I've never worn a non-uniform skirt ever since, unless I wear leggings with it.

i have the same problem ITS NOT CIRCULATION PROBLEMS but if it's like that all the time then maybe, it's because your so pale it shows it ,  other people go purple too you just can't see it in their skin because it's darker , it's really normal, don't worry just keep warm,  it's good you go purple because it's the blood getting away when it cold and when it's hot the blood rushes to your hands... So don't worry about it... If it was bad circulation you would have it everywhere even on the belly and you would be bright bright purple❤️

You probably need to see a doctor I heard they can give you some medicine or cream to stop it doing that maybe forever but try not to leave it xx

I am 15 and I live in Ohio where I mean it isn't like really warm but it is not cold either but I always get purple skin and I asked my dermatologist about it and he recommended Cayanne pepper. It helped a lot.

I would think its a circulation problem. The same happens to me. I'm a fairly skinny male and 19 years of age. Actually I could be considered underweight. But my hands and feet are always cold, when I was younger and Would go to gym class in school, I would hear about my skin turning purple and lips. I would just do what you can to get to a doctor and tell them to look at it. And try to google how to increase blood circulation. Thanks.

For most it truly isn't an issue, I agree! But I have a circulation and chemical/hormonal imbalance in my body that causes me to have extreme flushing that actually gets worse with exercise, sadly. I wish I could get rid of it, but it's just the way I'm made! I'm learning to embrace it even with being made fun of.

I'm 13 and I have the same thing as everyone else. My arms will turn a weird splotchy purple, especially around my knuckles. It doesn't even need to be that would. It's winter and when I even to to my gym class it happens. The when I apply pressure for an extended period of time and release, they become this weird white and stay like that for a while. Why!?
