I’m 11 and I have the same problem whenever I am doing P.E. My skin turns a purplish colour. I have heard that this is something to do with circulation. Whenever I went online and searched it up on google it would always come up with something really serious and I would always get really panicked but recently I learned that many people have this problem and that made me feel a lot better

Also called: Raynaud's phenomenon
ABOUT
SYMPTOMS
TREATMENTS
A young woman outside in the cold throwing a snowball with her bare hand. Diagram shows that cutting off the blood flow turns the fingers white, then low oxygen causes the fingers to turn blue. Finally, when blood returns, the fingers turn red.
A condition in which some areas of the body feel numb and cool in certain circumstances.
Common
More than 200,000 US cases per year
Treatable by a medical professional
Usually self-diagnosable
Lab tests or imaging often required
Chronic: can last for years or be lifelong
In Raynaud's phenomenon, smaller arteries that supply blood to the skin constrict excessively in response to cold, limiting blood supply to the affected area.
The fingers, toes, ears, and tip of the nose are commonly involved and feel numb and cool in response to cold temperatures or stress. It's often accompanied by changes in the color of the skin.
Treatment beyond self-care, such as dressing warmer, usually isn't needed.

problem. I recently found that the only way for me make it go away us wearig warm clothes when its really cold, just dress for the whether I guess. But i recently talked to a friend about this and they said they have the same problem but with their hands, They said it might be because of poor blood circulation and she told me to boil up ginger in water (as many ginger as u want to suit ur taste) and add honey to it. She told me that the ginger is good for blood circulation, and it has helped her. I haven’t tried it out yet as I only found out a day ago but I will certainly try it out and I hope this would be a help for you

I'm 12 and I have the same exact problems. I'm extremely insecure which doesn't help. Plus I get teased alot for it. I've read it has something to do with blood circulation. So I have tried running and yeah my face gets red but also my legs aren't purple or blue. The red face is probably because I'm pale. I hope I helped kinda lmao
