I keep getting them on my butt cheeks, and they get really hard and sore. They always scar and have little scabs on them after. It doesn't make sense because I try my hardest to be clean, I use antibacterial soap and they still come back. I'm really insecure about my ass now and I don't know what to do. Please help.

Yes I have been getting these on back of my thigh for few years, they scar. But recently got a large amount on my buttock. Iv seen similar spots that say its actinic keratoses. Havent seen pics but comments say could be herpes?????

Why aren't any of you people going to the doctor to find out what the problem may be. Listening to other people's solutions on the net is just slily .

Hi Dr. Sharapova, I too suffer from what Gabrielles mentioned.. I take medicine that made me gain a lot of weight, along with the weight gain the medicine also causes severe, severe sweating. I have noticed these horrible bumps on the inner pubic region and on the back on the legs towards my buttocks.. Sometimes these bumps will not pop at first but it feels like a bump under the skin sometimes it feels big but then once it reaches the surface it pops and it seems more blood comes out than pus but pus does come out.. I just had an awful bumps that had a lot of pus but even more blood a lot of it but it finally stopped and after this and the other bumps they heal but they leave scars and the skin like peels.. I did not know I shouldn't shave in or around these affected areas.. Do you think it could be anything worse?? I had my family doctor look at them because I initially thought they were bed sores but after looking at them they are in perfect sink with the shape of my toilet seat my family doctor gave me an antibiotic and medicine to help with my sweating but it dries out my skin but it does work I still sweat but not as much I did take notice I sweat a lot on the toilet seat.. IS there anything I do to make these go away?? I have tired using products to dry them out that helped a good bit but I am still getting them.. I take showers everyday and wear clean clothes.. My job and day consists of sitting down a lot so I am just wondering if I can do anything else to help alleviate the situation and yes its very embarrassing to talk about.. Thanks for your time.

Pop it with a pin, drain it, use hydrogen peroxide to keep everything sanitary and clean. Work out more and excercise, keep area dry and clean. You may need Gold Bond powder to keep dry if you sweat a lot, like me!

Umm do not use Hydrogen Peroxide it is used mainly as an ORAL BEBRIDGING agent. Hydrogen Peroxide burns the skin tissue at the infected area and doesn't do anything to help.... If these bumps pop then the best thing to do is clean the area and use alcohol wipes to dry out the area... The main thing is to keep the infected areas as dry as possible.. They happen because of chaffing, sweating, and those two things are the perfect combo to cause horrible bumps.. Herpes mainly forms around the genital areas not on the backs on thighs, inner thighs, thighs, etc. Using powder is a good thing to us because it keeps the area dry so try and use that daily.... Working out is great to lose weight but even the skinniest of people have this problem.... If you can try and go to a dermatologist. I am going to my family doctor to see if there is something else I can also do to help or if she thinks I need to be referred to a dermatologist..

I used to heave the same problem. It could be a heat rash or bump from where your thighs rub together. They have over the counter meds to put on it just ask your pharmacists hope this helps
