Recently, I have noticed that with two different girls, I would lose my erection at the time of intercourse. The first time I wrote it off as having had too many beers that night and that I really wasn't into the girl. I am into the second girl and I wasn't drunk but had the same thing happen a few days ago. This time, I could feel myself getting hard during foreplay, but then it would fade. But then this girl gave me oral and I had a good erection. I rolled the condom on and was still hard but upon insertion, I began to lose it. Part of it was that she was tight and it wasn't a "smooth" fit right off the bat. I think the delay set panic in. But who knows.

I am 35 and am in decent shape, eat reasonably well and have no history of major health problems. I masturbated quite a bit and often used porn as a stimulus. At first, I thought the overall masturbation and porn was causing the problem, but it seems most experts don't think that is a factor in situatoins like this.

I have done the self night test and I get an erection at night. For example I got a very hard erection late last night when I woke up and then a more weaker erection this morning. I can get an erection through masturbation, granted I immediately lose the erection right after ejaculation. Even when I am fooling around with the girl, I can feel myself getting an erection but lose it quickly as soon as I notice I am getting one. I don't get normal erections during the day but then again, I am wondering if mentally I am putting so much pressure on myself that I might be hurting my ability to get one. And the other thing I notice is that I lose an erection very quickly if not stimulated, moreso than in the past.

I am going to see the doctor but would at least like an idea what direction I should be looking - physical or pyschological. Since I can get erections at night and can get one with self stimulus, I am leaning towards pyschological issues.

Any suggestions? Someone did suggest the cialis/viagra route for the first few sex sessions to get my confidence up. But any other suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks.
