Ok, I know exactly what you are going through--with smoking, not so much the drinking.

I'm a 19 year old female. I have tried so many times to stop smoking and have failed many times. I think I've finally done it though. I have gone almost 6 months without a cig and I went through the same feelings that you are going through right now.

THE REASON: You are basically detoxifying your body. You are getting rid of substances that you body has gotten used.

During my first few weeks of no smoking, I had zero energy, constant headaches, a cold, and I was a total B!T(H. I totally felt better when I was smoking, but eventually that all passed.

The third month will probably be the hardest for you, because that's when EVERYTHING has left the body--your nicotene cravings will become like crazy intense!!

Good Luck!!

I honestly don't know if any of this helped you, but I thought I would share my story.

I gave up smoking cigerettes full time about 3 weeks ago. I also feel like I'm lacking a lot of energy and that's not normal for me. In addition to that, I feel dehydrated, and slow. I'm also now starting to show signs of stress, I'm getting a lot of spots and signes of stress like dry skin etc.. did anyone else have these symptons during withdrawl. I've been told that these are all things that happen when you give up but I'm looking for some encouragement that this is a normal thing before I end up going to the doc and bleating on until he thinks I'm a hypocondriac :-)

You really need to cut out the energy drinks, they are poison for your body. I am glad you are cleansing your body and drinking lots of water. Anyone who drinks everyday is considered an alcoholic and also quitting smoking must of been very hard for you and I admire you for do that. This is like a detox for you because your body was used to all this poison. I am so glad you decided to take the step to get into good physical shape and take care of your body. My mom used to say" your body is your temple and what you put into it is what you get.
Liquor is bad for your liver and by the time you are older , your liver will be bad and have serious problems. You need to go see a doctor and get a physical , that will be your first step and tell him everything you have gone through. Start taking vitamins and try to start exercising but after you see a doctor . You never know, maybe your potassium or iron is low and with this physical he can surely give you good medical advice with the blood tests. The marijuana is bad for your brain and by the time you know it you wont be able to think properly. It kills your brain cells. Yea! I think you are just detoxing from all this poison who have put in your body. YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT STEP and I hope I was some help to you. Good luck and let me know what you decided to do. You are young and have a whole life ahead of you, and you sure want to be healthy to enjoy it! Keep in touch!
