Yes, yes, yes - finally it makes sense. I have been battling this for over a year, mine is now so painful (like haemorrhoid), burning and throbbing. It is uncomfortable sitting because it feels like gravitational pressure is building up down there and it's sore. I have had Bartholin cyst surgery, it's not a cyst. It is on one side, am not pregnant, mid aged and don't have a period, sitting here with ice cubes between my legs in the middle of winter. The first GP treated me for thrust 3x over 6mths, had haemorrhoid cream (it did stop the pain for a few hours), hydrocortisone cream, bacterial creams. 2nd GP referred me to a gynaecologist (male) who did an internal exam and prescribed pain relief. This pain relief actually worked but only for the 2 wks of the course. I went back to GP for a repeat and she advised it could increase seizure activity because I have epilepsy. She also suggested it could be a neurological misfiring of the nerve signals in my brain, fake pain - I wanted to hit her. But I can see the vein (almost black now on the inside and outside) and everyone's comments have given me more encouragement to go back & get a fourth opinion.

This might show up as my bfs account lol but anyways I'm 6 weeks pregnant and I have the same problem. Is it possible that I can have it at such an early pregnancy? And I'm 17,,, every time I use the bathroom and wipe it hurts. And every time me and my bf have sex it hurts as well. Sometimes I find blood, my mom told me to be careful and not to be rough.

Yes. It's a varicose vein. I noticed mine during pregnancy. Over the years and another 2 pregnancies mine got worse and very painful. I went to a vein Doctor (vascular surgeon) and had surgery to remove it.
During sex and orgasm there is an increase in blood flow and that is why it gets more puffy.
