Alright, so approx. a week ago I developed an itch under my testicles on the bottom portion, as well as on the skin between my testicles and rectum. After doing a little research online I thought maybe it was just a fungal thing, since it's summer and I'm a really active teen, so I sweat a lot etc etc.
I went into the med. cabinet and grabbed some benedryl itch cream (hydrocortizone?) something like that. Says it stops itching. Immediately there was a mildly intense stinging/burning sensation when I applied it. It was not unbearable in any sense, or SUPER intense, but it was definitely noticeable, and affected my walking because it was worse when the skin rubbed against itself. It has now been about.. 10-15 minutes, I've been stationary and the pain has subsided for the most part, still some very mild tingling, but I was wondering if normal fungal infections react this way to medicine, or if this is something I should get checked out.

I hon, 1st are you sexually active and if so do you wear a condom?
You have to check off the different reasons why you are having the rash! If you are having unprotected sex, I would advise you getting checked out at the STD clinic!!! If you are having protected sex, you could be alergic to the condom!
If all of the above do not apply, then I would hazzard a guess that you indeed have a fungal infection - due to the rubbing and moistness in that area. Try Vagisil!!! I know it's for a woman, but it's gentle for your genitalia! Also try monistat cream! Benedryl isn't made for genitils!!! o.O Arms, legs, chest YES, Sausage and potatos NOOOOOO!!!! ;-) So try and do the check off list, and if you are all clear, then get down the aisle of the womens section and quickly put them in a cart. AND WASH THE BENEDRYL OFF!!!!! ;-) XD 8-|

Ya, that's the thing for a few months I had sex with a few different girls, for the most part unprotected. But, the thing is I stopped that about... eh, 3 months ago and haven't had sex since, and I just got the rash this week.

Because of that, If I were you I would go get checked out at an STD clinic! There are SO many different types out there, and an STD doesn't have to appear right after sexual activity, some attack your immune system then appear when something else is going on, such as a cold or being overly tired etc. So get checked and hopefully you have dodged a bullet. Most guys don't like wearing condoms, but a SLIGHT inconvenience, is FAR better than a life time of health concerns. And the old VD's are coming back with a vengence, such as Ghonorea and Syphallis! So from now on PROTECT yourself, and the women you are with. Because now adays, if you pass on an STD, you can actually be sued for Intentional Bodily Harm!!!!!! So be careful!

Sometimes there is a delay between sexual contact and an actual outbreak of a virus so you do need to bear that in mind. Getting a rash like that sounds to me like it could be herpes, although it could be something else, so please see a doctor as soon as possible. PLease keep us posted on what it is, okay?

I've have a similar problem i have a rash under my testicles but the thing is I have never had sex with a girl im a 15 year old virgin i feel it may have to do with just unclean around the rectum cause the heat and stuff like that so if u possibly know any cause any meds it only hurts when i touch the area and feels like there is a cut but when i check there is none
