Hello all

First post as this has been a problem I have kept very much to myself, so I am hoping for a sympathetic ear. Searched forums, but I think each case is different so I will put down what the issue is.

I have a beautiful sexual partner, she is everything I have looked for, but whenever we have sex there is a feeling of pain when the foreskin is pulled back. This then leads to problems maintaining an erection and makes full sex difficult. I keep trying to reassure my partner that this is my problem, but I know that it gets to her as she thinks it is because I do not find her attractive enough. Nothing could be further from the truth. Due to the nature of my work, we have to spend some time of the year apart, and this just makes it even more depressing that when we are together, there is no magic. Masturbation is not a problem, although the foreskin stays fully covering the glans (?) so there is no pain. I am not inexperienced sexually, but in the past I have had intercourse using a condom, which has stopped the pain. Now we want to move to the next level of intimacy, but I find myself in a quandry.

Any helpful advice would be very much appreciated, or if anyone has had a similar experience, because I feel I am out on a limb here, as it is not something I can discuss with my peer group. I feel we are both missing out on so much due to my problems.

Thank you in advance

I would suggest you saw a doctor and tried to fix this problem or at least get some input. I happen to believe that you have problem with foreskin called phimosis, when the opening of the foreskin is so narrow that is stays attached to the glans and you cannot move your foreskin. Has your foreskin always been like that or has this occurred recently.

Phimosis could be congenital, meaning that it was like that since you were born or it could be acquired probably due to poor hygiene (or something).

I wonder how come you have never experienced the problem before. I think you should see a doctor and tried to fix this problem manually with a lot of stretching and retracting the foreskin. Don’t do anything forcefully as it may only hurt.

A doctor could prescribe you a cream that may help with stretching and inflammation if there is any and show you how to stretch properly.
