Bruising and swelling are common after this type of surgery. It is partly due to the vast blood supply in the area.

You should be on antibiotics to prevent infection. Do you see any discharge near the site? Are you on pain meds.

When was the surgery? It usually takes a week, maybe week and a half to heal.
