Hello,

I am 21 years of age and recently underwent circumcision to rectify an issue with a constrictive foreskin. As far as i know everything went ok and seems to be in working order :-), however, the head of my penis is now covered with peeling and dry skin, which has cracked in some instances.

What can i do about this issue? And why is it happening? I assume that it has something to do with that fact that in my 21 years on this planet, my foreskin never retracted fully and exposed the head until after the operation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-), thanks in advance.

Regards,
Recently de-hatted :-)

Yes, you are probably right about that. Circumcision exposes the sensitive skin of the glans (the tip of the penis). Your foreskin never retracted fully and exposed the head until after the operation. Now, all you need is some bay oil or lotion, some cream for dry ands sensitive skin. Apply it every day afer shower on the dry area and it will be healed in couple of days. There’s nothing to worry about. Make sure that he does not ride a bike until the swelling has completely gone down. Wear appropriate underwear, loose briefs that will not restrain you or cause pain. Watch for signs of infection. Signs of infection usually include a pus-like discharge and swelling, if that happens contact your doctor as soon as possible.

I recently was circumcised too, how do I clean it without pulling the stitches?

I think you leave it alone until it has healed.
