Hi, last week they incidentally found a spleen arterial aneurism when looking for a kidney stone, one of my questions is what is the normal diamater of the spleen artery. The aneurism is 2.5 x 1.7 x 1.6cm How concerned should I be? Should I limit any of my activity? Lifting? Diet?
I was going to fly cross country for a week leaving this Wednesday, should I still go?
I am 44yrs old, mom of 3, hectic life, could use the time away %-)

Hi Karen...that sounds a bit ominous and scary....I'd ask your doctors opion on the getting away.
I know you're wishing to get some relief from hectic life...but with so much at stake, I would be so quick to get away.
You're too young yet and your children need their mommy!
Did the doctor suggest your anny could be an AVM....(Arteriovenous malformations are groups of abnormal vessels
which may occur within the brain and other parts of the body.)
Is there a plan to "fix" your anny? If I were you I'd follow your doctors advice.
