About two weeks ago my fiance and I had sex. A strange reddish-brown fluid came out of me, and his penis was red in one area and stung a little bit. We have not had sex since then as I have been out of town.
Since then I have had mild itching and burning sensations, as well as a little soreness. At first these sensations were so mild that I didn't even think anything of them, but now that it has been so long, I'm beginning to wonder.
Until yesterday, my discharge had been the normal milky color. But yesterday a little bit of reddish-brown discharge came out.
I've been on birth control for a year now, I tested negative for clamydia and gonhorrea, and my fiance and I have been monogomous for 14 months. My period is not supposed to start for almost two weeks.
What could it be? I'm guessing it's Bacterial Vaginosis, but I don't think I can go to a doctor for another week and a half (until I'm back in town).

Wow- most recent guests response was very rude. Karma comes around buddy. This forum is supposed to be to help people who need support and answers. I have suffered many things including feminine symptoms (Moslty CAUSED BY Men I should add!!!). Women always get stuck with the "problem" but it's everyone's problem-our anatomy makes us a little more at risk for things to develop. To the woman with the reddish-brown discharge- I do recommend a doctors's visit but be a good historian and don't give up. Don't let (typical) gyns tell you "it's normal" when you know what is not normal for you. I have a simmiar issue and my gyn keeps saying it's normal-it's definitely not normal to have an odor and mild buring and brown discharge and totally messes with your whole life. My job is in human services helping people with disabilities which I do not complain about but it's hard to take care of people when you are dealing with a health issue. Am a young lung cancer survivor also and got used to doctors telling me for a few years it was in my head (and they would give me inhalers, anti-biotics, etc with out running tests )and I believed it until my lung colapsed. Trust your guy.
Best of luck, Some one who cares
