Hi! Can anybody tell me something about muscles restus abdominus? I have just started going to the gym and I heard some guys mentioning this group of muscles but I couldn’t figure out what exactly they were saying. Thank you

The main function of the rectus abdominus is to move the body between the ribcage and the pelvis.There are exercises oriented on this group of muscles. There are exercises for lower group of muscles and upper. For the upper part, the best exercise would be a forward crunch with short movements and your lower back on the floor all the time. For the lower part of the six pack I do raising of the legs and seated leg tucks, which is a version of the leg raise.
