I know it’s not possible to find drug without side effect. As my doctor prescribed me so many different medications, none was well working for me. Now, on last re visit he decided to try with Roacutane. Because I know my body I know I should expect at least one side effect. Can you tell me what should I be prepared for?
Medicines and their possible side effects can affect individual people, each in different way. Some of side effects that are known to be associated with Roacutane are next. And to say one more time, it doesn’t mean that all people using this medicine will experience that or any side effect. Headache and nausea are common while using Roacutane. Blood disorders, visual disturbances, high blood glucose level, or so called hyperglycaemia, inflammation of pancreas or pancreatitis and abnormal reaction of the skin to light, usually rash, caused by photosensitivity also could appear. Connected with this sensitivity of skin also is dry skin and hair loss. Sometimes increased hair growth or hirsutism is side effect of Roacutane. Some people may experience dryness of the mucous membranes, for example lips, eyes, nose and throat. Off course there is not reported all of side effects of Roacutane in the same time. You should check with your doctor if there are used some other medications too because there can be some adverse effects.
