Sorry, but there is NO SUCH THING as a safe abortion at home. If the abortion is not complete it can cause a severe infection, possibly leading to the mother's death or causing infertility. Or, it may lead to her delivering a severely handicapped child.
A follow up exam is necessary to ensure the abortion was complete.
