I've been drinking diet tea for the past month or so and i love it. But i'm thinking of going back on the pill when my next period comes.

My question...

while on the diet tea diet (detox).. is it okay for me to still take the BCP? my friend who is an lvn said it was totally fine and she does it all the time.. but i'm still having doubts.. i'm afraid it will just flush out the pill or something..
