I have been taking the Nature's Way Kelp 600 mg for about 3 weeks and have lost about 7 lbs. without changing my diet at all. I take 1 capsule a day in the morning without a meal.

250 mg a day will help, you do not want your thyroid to go the other way and weight gain will be unstoppable..take them wisely !

i just started taking kelp because i gained like 30 lbs without diet or exercise change (i did start some new meds which might be it) so i got a blood test, everything is fine but i researched the thyroid and i know iodine stimulates the thyroid. i thought maybe this will do something for me. i only take one pill a day which is 100% of the iodine i need, i wouldnt want to hurt myself by taking more. i read it can cause hyper or hypo thyroidism if you take too much.
