hi, im a 14year old girl and im going to see the school nurse on monday about my vagina. it really hurts when i walk, pee and sit and im getting worried. i dont want to tell anyone about it because im embarrassed so thats why im going to the school nurse. but im really nervous! i dont know what to expect! are they going to make me take my pants off? whats a speculum? And what do i say/ will it hurt to have a speculum? if they want to look at it do i shave it or not? thanks

the nurse might not look at your vagina because she/he could get in trouble. you should go to the hospital they know more than the nurse. hope you feel better

If your a virgin they wont be able to insert a spectum. You probably have an infection, as women were prone to infections there so she may put a finger up but it shouldnt hurt.
