Severe abdominal and rectal pains after sex?

I completely agree. I had sex while constipated and gassy. And this pain happened. I'm just resting. But it's nothing to get too worried about. It has happened to me before. All you need rest and no sex.

I have been dealing with this pain ever since iv had my son who is now 4, it happens 1 out of 3 times me and my husband get intimate. I went to see my nurse and it turned out to be a combination of things, very good strong pelvic muscles, and as said before constipation and gas. So if I'm feeling constipated or windy I just settle for a cuddle lol, coz it is not worth it.

I have been having the same exact same thing happen to me also. It is a nightmare! It just comes and goes. Who wants to go sit in the ER for hours feeling that way? I have had to call out of work bc the pain was so bad. I can't even stand up straight. I'm going to have to make a doc appt. I just hate for them to tell me they don't know or try to dismiss it as something ridiculous that its obviously not. What your overall outcome?

I guess it is the internal hemorrhoids...coz i have them and if suffer with the same problem that you suffering so get checked on that...some hemorrhoids don't cause pain and get noticed unless they are stirred by constipation and gas....You need to go to doc. and take medicines for that....n don't feel shy to say no to sex if you are having pain or constipating coz it might add up to ur problem and pain..

I have ibs and occasionally this happens to me as well. I read somewhere that that is a contributing factor when those type of pains occur but I also have ovarian cysts too. I come to believe that it is just something's about our body that we are just not gonna figure out. Sex, if u think about it, is really a traumatic experience for your female parts. You got something going in hitting your soft tissues and shifting the contents of your lower abdomen; no matter how sensual it's still traumatic!

I had this happened to me 4 years ago, exact same symptoms, doubled over in pain, knife through the rectum, etc. I went to the doctor. They did an MRI with and without contrast and nothing was found. The pain went away and it came back last week, after intercourse. Not too bad, but then the night before last after intercourse I was again doubled in pain, etc. Nothing makes it go away. It is awful!!!! It does feel as if gas is trapped. I am going to try the rubbing of the tummy upside down and just now took some gas x. Something has got to work to make us all feel better!

 

Has anyone gotten an actual diagnosis from a Dr? I saw a GP this morning- same situation as everyone else, this happened after sex, 3 times in the same week. The GP took an xray and reported I looked "gassy." Gave antibiotics because white blood cells showed up in my urine sample, and said not to worry about making an appointment with a GYN right now- he didn't see a need for an ultrasound. I was frank with the doc, and told him this was really f**king up my sex life with my new husband. He perscribed Naproxen, and said to take it before intercourse. The gas part makes sense- at the same time though, I have a lot of bloating after yhese incidence occur, and a lot of soreness in my lower abdomin and residual rectal pains (not as excrutiating as the initial stabbing pain) the day after one of these episodes. I desperatly want to believe this is just gas, but am so confused-- are the rectal pains a sign of more serious colo/rectal issues? is the bloating and infection I have now due to release of fluid from ruptured ovarian cysts?

i have the same symptoms it happen to me atleast 4 times and i never visit the doctor but nw as i saw what you had to say each time i had the pain i was holding up gas either the day before or the same exact day thank you for opening my eyes but i would like to know if these pain come on what can i do to stop it thanks again

This is also happening to me right now it's so painful I Dnt know what to do hurts when I sit or even move for that matter HELP

This has happened to me a couple of times..nd I have learned tht the symptoms are from being either constipated or gassy...I take two gasx pills nd within an hour I feel fine..hope this can help a lot of yu..god bless :)

I have same problems, plainly take 600 ml of advil before. It works for me everytime, As i found out my man is much larger then the last and he hits my bladder which causes spasms which feel like menstrual cramps/ labor pains. and then you feel like you have alot of gas or you need to take a bowel movement.Sitting on the toilet was the only position that would help my cramps as they felt like diahrea cramps after awhile. shaking, nausea, sweating, hard of breathing. I would also smoke some green to help me sleep after.

I had the same exact experience guys my boyfriend and I were doing it one night and I was paralyzed by the pain and had to go to the emergency room. It turns out I had a cyst in my uterus that exploded and the liquid that leaked from it caused the pain. They couldn't do anything about it except give me super strong pain meds and morphine. I thought I was gonna die from the pain but those meds helped a lot...if it is a cyst there's nothing they can do on it just give you meds and send you home.

i have recently been checked and everything is ok. I believe it is gas I have had gas for at least 2 days and haven't been regular.When me and my bf had sex the pain was so bad. I had to sleep it off about a hr later I had a bowl movement . Now I have gas a lot of it I'm going to the store to get Toms hopefully it work

The EXACT same thing happened to me a couple nights ago. I could not move and was rushed to E.R in the am... they did xrays, blood tests, ultrasounds, pelvic exams, internal pelvic exams. Finally they diagnosed me with PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) I am on day number 3 in my bed with still a lot of stomach pain. Did your pains go away?

ive had exactly the same problems its unbearable! ive got to have an ultra scan and camera up me. I really want to know what it is I will let you know .
