I have been having pain on my right side, underneath the rib cage. More recently, I am experiencing severe stomach (upper middle abdomen) pain after I eat ANYTHING (not just specific foods). My body temperature has been ranging from 93.6 F-95.3 F (the latter when I'm most active). I don't feel cold though. I feel hot. I just started getting diarrhea and I have noticed this week I lost 10 pounds.

I did go to the hospital and was tested by CT Scan, Xrays, Ultrasound, and blood tests. They did not find anything and discharged me with intergestion.
Anyone have any suggestions or similar experiences?

My daughter has gone through 5 weeks of the upper abdominal pain. She went through 3 er visits 4 doc visits and 1 week in the hospital and had every test in the book run on her. Her episodes are like child birth. No diagnosis!!!!! The doctors are treating her with mirilax, carafate and prevacid and she has totally been cleaned out and the pains have never gone away. We finally have a followup with Primary Childrens GI next week.

I am having the exact same symptoms as the person in the first post from March. Pain on the right side below the rib cage, low temp, everything. They can't find anything. Have they found anything for you yet?

Hello..for those of you with the pain on the upper right side, etc....have you had your gall bladder checked? I had the same symptoms and found out the functionality of my gall bladder was 4% of what it should be...good luck!

If you already had an ultrasound, you may want to ask your doctor about a hida scan. It sounds gallbladder related and if they didn't find gallstones or sludge during the ultrasound, this test would show if your have reduced functionality of your gallbladder. I had pain that was on my middle right side and lower left side when I ate which was resolved by taking my gallbladder out. They took it out because I had 4 large gallstones and they couldn't find anything else wrong but it turned out that my gallbladder was super inflamed and enlarged and probably moving other things into one another causing my atypical pain.

You may have dysbiosis. I would go to a functional medicine doctor and get tested for that.
