I have the same problem and its persisted for the past 3 years. I am not on Birth control. Two years ago I had cysts on my ovaries... I did not know this until one ruptured and caused excruciating pain. The doctors said there's nothing you can do to prevent them but it does cause you to have infertility issues. Not drinking alcohol helps but there's not much else to prevent these from forming. They just come and go as they please

Hi, Im sorry to hear that. I have the same pain but my pain come during an orgasam, the pain continue for about 10 mins afterward. the only thing I can do to minimize the pain is to hold my stomach or put a heating pad on my stomach. I went to 3 different doctors 1 saw cyst and drained them, but the pain haxnt stopped, another 1 saw cyst and fybrods which stated that the fybroids are on the outside of my uterous and are small and as long as they didnt get bigger I should be okay. The other doctor just gave me some pain meds and suggested that if the pain continue for me to have an hysterectomy at the age of 25 with only 1 child. I have had this pain for about 7 years and dont know what to do.

I'd had this problem before & frequently. Discovered an interesting solution, when you find the problem is not actually related to anything reproductive. It was described to me that there are small muscles & nerves that attach from our lower backs and hips, some of them cross from our back through our middle to the front of the pelvic bone.  In some cases, certain movement can cause the muscles to cramp (similar to the way foot cramps) and pinch a nerve in the pelvic area.  It happens in ladies a lot because our hip shapes. If nothing is done when the cramping starts sometimes the nerve or muscle can become inflamed and hurt for days (the horrible cramp feeling like bellybutton/other girl-parts being pulled out through the anus).

Here is the wonderful trick I learned. It might kinda hurt for a couple minutes during the process, but the immediate relief is much better than having pain for a couple days.

1. Lay down on your back at an angle if possible with your hips up higher than your head (if you can arch backwards with some pillows it works too)

2. Firmly (but not hard)"Jiggle" or "Massage" the muscles in your hips and pelvis with your hands in a head-to-toe like motion.  Suddenly, as quick as a leg cramp goes away, the pelvic cramp/pain goes away.  I hope this helps everyone.

From your description it sounds like it is Endometriosis. Doesn't surprise me that your doctor didn't suggest this as it is misunderstood for many doctors. Because of this it takes the average women 10 YEARS to get diagnosed, causing the disease to spread more if left untreated.

I have had the exact same problem a few times, i thought maybe i had a cyst and somehow my boyfriends had hit it during sex. I know that ovarian cyst can be very painful. The last time it happened the pain was vey sharp, my stomach was bloated and i could barely move it hurt so bad. it felt like someone was stabbing me or something. It took my breath away. I finally went to the doctor after two days of symptoms and after freaking myself out over webmd, (dont ever read too much into that you will freak yourself out i promise), i was afraid i had an std or cyst or growth or something terrible. My gyno finally gave me some answers. He said that there are two ligaments oneither side of the cervix, (i think he called them the cardinal ligaments??)  Anyway he said that during sex these ligaments can sometimes get hit and bruised by the tip of the penis. He said it can be very painful, like a stabbing pain. Usually when this happens he said to not have sex for a week or so until everything feels better. It just cause pain and soreness for a bit, one time i felt better the next day, another it was a few days. I assure you its not chlamydia, just bruised ligament that are attatched to your cervix (so its understandable as to why it hurts so bad!) I really hope this helped! I know its hard worrying:-) rest and advil seemed to help the most

hi you need to check into endmetriosis, PCOS and uterin fibroids. fibroids are normally NOT cancerious so u should be ok but one of the many side affects of fibroids are pelvic pain in your lower abdiomen after sex i suffer from all the my self, i know my spelling sucks but i hope the info helps. just look up uterian fibroids there is all kind of info on the internet about it.

have you been checked for Endemetriosis of PCOS- these are cyst in your female parts that can be very painfull, my last option to check into is FIBROIDS, these are normally like 99.6 percent NON cancerious. I know my spelling is off but just get check these things out on the web and get some info to talk to your doc about them most of them you can find out if you have it with just a transvaginal ultrasound. hope this all helps.
