I had a pain in my lower abdomen on the right, also pain in right testicle and sometimes right leg, with pain in my back. Was worried with the pain in testicle more than anything so was referred to hosptial by my doctor. He checked my testicle and nothing was there. He then went to my lower ab and told me to cough, he saw an hernia pop out each side of my lower abs. This is my problem and now waiting for Dec for a pre op appointment.
Before I was referred my doc checked for hernias and said I definatly didnt have any. Luckily the guy at the hospital just browsed around my lower ab or I would have been none the wiser. Always best to get a second opinion. Especially if you're in England, UK. I'm not the greatest admirer of our doctors. Not in my area anyway. They just want you out the room before you even sit down.

It took 2 weeks of ER visits (every day literally). I couldn't even have water to drink and i would have an attack. So not eating in 2 weeks, wasnot a good sign either.
When they finally got the tests for my gallbladder theyneeded to verify thats what was wrong i had already gone toxic, i had emergency surgery, as well as that crazy one where they have to put a scope down my thoat and thread it to the opening of my small intestine to get the stones that had literally blocked my small intestine!!!
There were other complications after the fact as well because i had two surgeries that required anestetic (sorry about the spelling) which is also not good for you, and made my right lung collapse! crazy i know hey.

When I was younger I had a gall bladder attack. It was brought on by eating very fatty foods one day... The attack was a result of a stone trying to pass...The pain started in my front, right abdomen and then spread to my back.. It was all over... Felt like a knife in my side... The ER said it was indigestion and gave me pepcid, sent me home. I then started to have a fever, for 5 days straight and it got worse. Went back to my physician and she suspected it was the gallbladder and gave me an ultrasound. Ended up, my gallbladder was 50% full of stones (that's a lot) at 19 yrs of age. Got it removed. This is also hereditary. My uncle had his removed. After me, my 4 sisters have all been diagnosed and have had theirs removed.
