I have flat feet, they really havent bothered me that much since i was about 14-15 I'm 19 now. My only problem is that after about 3/4 of a mile or so my shin area feels like it gets really tight and i usually have to stop running and i do a few stretches, and start running again and the same thing happens. Could it be caused by my flat feet and my muscles jsut working harder right now to compensate for it? I realyl hopes it goes away afer running a little longer or I'm screwed for basic training.

I've been running for about 4 weeks now and about 2-3 times a week for ususally 1-2miles.

I'm about 6'3'' 160lbs if that helps!
