These doctors are stupid . thay don't have enough knowledge about human body. Just some f*****g lectures .
So please avoid any kind of butchers knives . and eat health ,exercise. Don't take alcohol, cigrate ,and drugs. Wash five time your face hands and feet . this is only way to live better

Hello i am 26 and i am on day 12 after having my tonsils removed i didn't eat and barely drank anything week one the way i was stitched it would catch the food so i could not eat even when i tried i had to just bring it back up and spit it out the pain was worser than child birth i felt like i was being repeatedly stabbed in the neck the sharp pains stung so bad and my stitches pulled they were far to tight.. a couple days ago i lay down to sleep and a felt one of my stitches brake on my rightside my mouth filled up with blood so fast my first and dumb reaction was to just swallow it back DO NOT DO IT IS VERY DANGEROUS... more filled my mouth within seconds it was pouring so fast it started to choke me i tried to spit out what i could but i swallowed quiet alot that just went straight down... i bled for 4 hours and i threw up my stitches and most of the blood that i swallowed thank god or i would of needed my stomach pumped or worse...i rushed back to hospital it was a nightmare when it first happened... now day 12 im back at home on antibiotics the pain is very bearable now that the stitch that was tightly pulling is out, throat is still sore when swallowing but not as bad as the previous week when i felt like i was dying, my left side has completely healed im still waiting for the right to heal.

Hi, i am on day 6 and i am only getting sharp pains in the right side, so its normal and i just keep drinking cold water and just keep fighting through the pain. Dont let it win we can all be strong and just keep believing it will go away and one day it will.

did it eventually go away for you?
I am on day 9, and I have an unbearable pain in just one side whenever I swallow and sometimes randomly. first it feels like a razor touched an area and then it feels like it burning in the same area and my ear hurts too. my surgery was complicated because my tonsils were infected without me realizing before surgery. I don't know what to do, I am desperate, I haven't eaten anything for the last 48 hours, surviving on water and already lost more than 3 kilos while I am already very thin (26 yr old female), I am now down to 42 kilos. what a nightmare.

I still have pain every time I yawn. I had my tonsillectomy surgery 12 weeks ago. The pain is unbearable and feels like I'm ripping something. If anyone has any advice, I'd love your input.
