Since taking the cilest contraceptive pill I have been feeling aggressive and upset, not at the same time obviously. My moods are volatile and I am overly emotional. I know that "mood swings" are said to be side effects of the cilest contraceptive pill, but is this really linked? Do you think I should switch to another pill?
Your mood swings are almost certainly caused by the cilest contraceptive pill, if these started at the same time you went on the pill. You can try another fill, but I am sorry to have to be the one to tell you that I think all contraceptive pills have the same side effects. So if the cilest contraceptive pill causes these side effects, then it isn't unlikely another pill would do the same thing for you.
