Hello. I have been on the pill for many years. I thought it might be a good idea to change over to a different kind of birth control pill. It is not that the one I am using now is not sufficient or anything. I feel fine with it, but many it is not good for the body to have the same medication all the time. Now, I have heard of microgynon and I am wondering what that is like. Can you tell me about the side effects of microgynon?
I have been on Microgynon for about a year and I had to switch to another pill because I really thought I had enough of feeling half-way sick and tired all the time. I did have headaches before I started with Microgynon, but they became excruciating. So, perhaps I had these troubles with Microgynon because it just didn’t suit me, but if you like the pill and it suits your lifestyle then perhaps it would be best if you consulted with your gynecologist to check what effect will the change have, or is it even necessary when you already are on pill you are comfortable with. How was it for you when you first started with contraceptives? That could tell you how your body would react to a new one.
