I have heard that sodium bicarbonate is very good for the skin, and that some people like to add it to their bath water. I am very interested in this, as sodium bicarbonate is pretty cheap and will save me quite a bit of cash compared to the bath salts I normally use. Please tell me, does sodium bicarbonate have any side effects?
I don't think so. I have never heard sodium bicarbonate is good for your skin though, It is something I use in cakes, and not for any other purpose, though I heard that it can be used as a cleaning product as well. I wouldn't think there are any side effects from sodium bicarbonate but I am not an expert.
I used to use sodium bicarb in the baby's bath when they had a fever, it bring's it right down. It's also an Old Wives tale but it alway's worked.
