I know this sounds terrible but I am interested into skin cancer. I have my own reasons to ask this, which is not because I like it. I want to know what do skin cancer metastases look like. I hope there is not someone with this experience to tell me. I just need someone who knows more about it.

I did not have it, thanks God, but my mother did. She had melanoma, and when it metastasized, it came out as lumps under her skin. It was not at the original lesion sight, but all over her body. First, it occurred in her groin and then on the side of the neck on a lymph node. Not so long after, I have noticed other places on her body are affected. They started out small, of course, but the ones on his groin and side of neck grew to the size of apricots. They were not in groups, but individual lumps that his doctors misdiagnosed as cysts. The original lesion was on the back of her neck, but had been surgically removed a year before the lumps started developing into metastases.
