Have had full heart stress test, ekg, and carotid artery check. bloodwork, thyroid check, and liver.
recently, and i write recently, because i have never noticed it before, when I walk/workout, whether it be inside in a air conditioned gym, or outside in 88 degree weather, i notice my skin gets cold, mostly my arms.
I drink plenty of water throughout the day, so I think I am hydrated.
take metoprolol for bp, and xanax for anxiety.
any ideas on what's going on with me.
overweight, and have had kidney stones, no know other sickness.

I do not have your answer
But i have a similar problem.
When working out (i notice it more indoors)
Running sprints/ weight lifting
I get very cold and my skin gets very cold to the touch, it begins in my hands and feet, then everywhere, my butt legs, arms, and stomach and chest
Usually i can recover pretty quickly, but lately it is taking me hours, I will take a shower, lay under covers in a ball..I am still cold.
I have also had blood work and an EKG done.
Please email me if you have an answer

I am a dancer, and I have your answer! after an intense class many of the girls discuss this. our stomachs, theighs, butts, and pretty much everywhere else will feel cold, even though we are dripping sweat. the answer simply is, you're burning calories! :-)

It is actually due to sweat cooling down the skin. The reason we sweat to maintain our body core temperature, although we may be cool on the outside, we are still 37 degrees on the inside.
