My partner has recently developed these very small (about 2mm in radius) almost perfectly round cyst clusters on his feet. His feet are usually in socks and boots 8 hours a day 5 days a week. He has a very high average surface body temperature, and tends to sweat a lot (his socks are always soaking wet when he comes home). And recently his feet have had a damp, unpleasant smell about them where previously his feet offered no smell at all.
On his fingers is a similar thing, though it seems to be more prominent on the part of the finger below the nail and at the base of his fingers on the palm side. These are not as fluidy and seem to be less inflamed.
He also has dry, flakey skin in the creases of some fingers and toes.
Any ideas? I've had a hard time convincing him he needs to see a doctor.

Not being a doctor, I'm almost certain it's eczema. He doesn't necessarily need to see a doctor if he learns how to take care of it himself. He must do something now before it gets worse, though, because then he WILL need to see a doctor.
