I have had a small lump on the nape of my neck for a while now. Can you please help me figure out what this could be? It is about the size of a pea in diameter but it is not round, but flat. There is a small spot in the middle of the lump. What do you think this is and do I need to be worried about it in any way?
I don't know if there is any reason why it can't be this, but based solely on your description, I have a feeling that what you have is in fact an insect bite. If you are allergic to certain types of insects, these can be on your body for a long time and cause quite a reaction, like a big lump!
