Hi Ford,

First, it's good that you've found this and are keeping a watch on its size.
Second, you say it feels almost separate, that's good.

It could be part of your epidydmis or another structure.  It should be examined, just for your peace of mind more than anything.

I don't think it is testicular cancer based on your belief that it feels separate.  Again, it should be examined however.

Can you tell your parents you need a physical for sports or something?  Or, just say its a "man problem."

Good luck Ford.  Please keep us posted.

Hi Ford,

It could be a epididymal cyst or spermatocele.  They are fairly common and often are left alone unless they continue to grow.
That's what I'm thinking.

I do want you to get it checked.

Please get it checked. I had testicular cancer and the pea sized growth stayed the same size all along. Testicular cancer comes in three phases and mine was the lowest (Seminoma) and had not spread. You need to make sure this is not cancer because you do not want this spreading to lymph nodes. It takes cancer a long time to turn into cancer and seminoma's take about 10 years to grow into cancer. If you have caught it early that is great and you will be fine. Please go see a doctor right away. A urologist is best for this.

Why would someone be given drugs for a testicular lump?
