Ok in an embarrasing and somewhat evil deity intervention after coming back from overseas for 3 months I was getting very heated with my girlfriend. We were getting into foreplay with a lot of clothed grinding which was as far as I am concerned felt pretty good.

I promptly ran to the bathroom and inspected signior johnson to find the Frenulum (banjo string) had completely snapped leaving a large dangling bit in my shaft and a very small remnant on my bell end.
after the initial shock at seeing copious amounts of clarat exit my little man i proceeded to wash it with cold water. After what felt like an age it had stopped and I was able to inspect the damage. (mind you I was feeling extremely light headed, most likely due to shock and lack of blood).
Now I have read a lot about this sort of thing, with conflicting information.
I was not in severe pain as a lot of people have suggested, in all honesty it was merely the sight which makes it seem so insane.
I have heard of people going to the doctor and merely being told to leave it, let it heal. but this has well and trully snapped and all I can imagine will happen is the rawness will subside and i will just be left with small bits of dangly skin.
The region is sensitive, but not incredibly so. And there was no swelling/bruising as I can see. It purely just snapped!
So I ask for any advice, if anyone has had this have they found any sexual repurcussions such as premature ejaculation?
I am thinking of leaving it, curcumcision and frenuloplasty seem incredibly drastic for what seems to only be a snapped piece of skin and a lot of blood. But i just need advice!

this just happened to me 2 days ago done same thing and that totally snapped off

This happened to me about 3 years ago. I never saw anyone about it, but my girlfriend at the time told me she had heard about someone that happened to and it healed up eventually, so I didn't worry too much aside from the pain during sex etc. Mine healed up over the course of about 6 months to a year. The first 6 months sucked, but after that, I didn't feel any pain any more. I personally have no scarring from it, and look the same as I did originally. Just wait it out and everything should be fine, and don't pull it open any more. Be easy on it so it can heal.
hey bro since its happend to you and you've now seem to have fully recovered, i was curious about one thing.. did snapping it make it ANY bigger? is it bigger now then it was before you snapped it? please let me kno i'd appreciate it man
No. It's the same size. I would definitely not recommend doing it on purpose. It's a very unpleasant experience.
I just snapped mine completely as well! It's proper scary because of the amount of blood you lose... A lot! Went A&E and they said its fine just let it heal for a week or 2 before having sex again. One thing though... He said that since it has completely snapped it will never reconnect so I don't have to worry about it snapping ever again...,Sounds good but I will definitely miss my banjo string! It's gonna feel weird without it! Lol
Snapped mine 2 months ago and its healed, but still bit of pain and i cum even more than i used to haha but stings. But anyway i would wait at least
3 months before doing anything and if its tight due to the scarring tissue get a hold of some steroid cream and use it everyday for 2 week cause it thins and stretches the skin making it less tight, but only use a bit cause steroid cream can be dangerous. Hope it helps
i cut mine with a pair of scissors felt norty, but atleast my ginger finger is now 3 inches, a half an inch improvement

I saw a Tumblr vid of a guy, "born without a frenum" (?? probably snapped at an early age and doesn't remember). His foreskin rolling was f...ing hot! So hot that I considered tying mine off, but couldn't find enough info, so will leave as is.
Apparently what you will notice is that your foreskin will no longer roll over your corona on it's own. I'd make a point of manually doing that to keep your head covered, so you don't lose sensitivity -- as in circumcision.
DO NOT remove any of your frenum without serious research. You have a VERY high concentration of (pleasure) nerve endings in your frenum. Snapping it will not have affected that.
