The past year that I've gotten back into running, every once in a while I notice that my shins are very soft. Its not shin splints---i've already had those and gotten through them. Its the inside of my shins and its not all the time. I haven't figured out yet when or why its happening, but the insides of my shins get really soft and when you touch/press on my shins, there is an indent. Is this normal?
