Hi,

I believe that your varicocele surgery isn’t connected with the sore throat you are experiencing at this moment.

Sore throat is usually a symptom of a cold or flu and it is very easily treated as you probably know.

And since it has been a year after your varicocele surgery this is probably nothing and you don’t need to worry about this.

Do you experience any other symptoms besides sore throat? If you experience any other symptoms which are usual for flu or just simple cold start with treatment of that. Loss of appetite is one of the symptoms of cold and flu so you shouldn’t be connecting this with something else. Drink a lot of tea and increase vitamins and you hopefully you will be fine in a few days.
