I was diagnosed with lingual hyperplasia about 9 years ago. At least once a year lasting at least 3 weeks i have a burning sensation in my throat. I had all the test for GERD and was told i had hyperplasia with no good treatment available. The symptoms decrease quite a bit when i lay down , but almost constant when i up and moving around. My ENT gives me acid reflux meds but it does not offer any relief at all. The only other symptom is slight mucus in my chest. I was also given Nasanex spray for allergy but it doesnt help either. I have no other symptoms. I am going on 4 weeks now with a sore throat and dont even feel like talking much. Do you know of any new treatment for hyperplasia?

Hi . I have same problem with reactive hyperplasia but now 1year and half i dont know what i have to do . Have got any advice for ur problem ?
