Anyone willing to show a before and after photo of the treatment with the soldering iron, especially if you had a spot or two that were rather large.  I have a couple that are about the size of a b.b. such as that you would use in a b.b. gun.   I ordered one of the smaller soldering irons and waiting for it to arrive.  Based on what guys have said,I am really not afraid of trying this process, I just worry about the larger ones.

Well, I treated the rest of my spots with the "paper clip on the stove" method and I'm pretty much clear! There are just a couple of spots that need to be treated a 2nd time. So happy with the results.

Use a syptic pencil once or twice a day until they shrink and turn skin color- about a week to 10 days.

I don't think there is any way to share pics here or even exchange email addresses, or I would. I didn't take any before pics, but several of my "before" spots were as big as yours. After the soldering iron treatment, nothing shows.

Jefferyam, I had to re-register because my email address changed, now I can't send you a private message. Sorry about that. I'd gladly share "after" pics,. if I knew how to give you my new email address.

If you're taking 2 baby aspirin daily to reduce the chance of a stroke or a heart attack this could contribute to the formation of angiokeratomas.

How interesting about the 2 baby aspirin. I used to take that, but stopped about five years ago. Obviously mine didn't go away after i stopped taking the aspirin, as I had to use the soldering iron method to get rid of mine. Every few months, I need some slight touch up, but not much. Thanks for mentioning the aspirin tie-in. Mine might have been from that too.

hello,

I was in a similar position to you and it started young for me too (late 20's).

The simple solution is see your GP for a referral to a dermatologist.  The  dermatologist I saw (yesterday) used diathermy - bang and they are gone.  Cost was $175, possibly cheaper if you are a student or on welfare. I wish I had done this years ago.

All the best and diathermy really is the solution.

So I bought a styptic pencil from amazon and have been applying it twice a day for 1 week. So far I have noticed a slight reduction in the ~50 or so spots I have on my testicles. To describe this reduction before I used the pen the spots are 100% visible now i would estimate them to be at 70%.

The pen does sting slightly after application so if you wish to try this I recommended doing it at least an hour before going to bed.

I will keep applying the styptic for another week or so and report any findings.

Hey guys,

I did the soldering iron method about a year ago. It was somewhat successful, but I notice that my spots that did go away, eventually came back. Have you guys experienced that? I'm wondering if I didn't zap them properly the first time, or if this is just something I'll have to do periodically for the rest of my life. Four days ago I hit most of the spots again. This time I hit each one 2-3 times, and was a little more aggressive with the iron than I was last time I tried it, meaning, holding the iron to the spot just a tad longer than before. I'm at the scabbing stage, and hope they disappear in the next day or two. I'm hoping this method works better, I'll post again when i have results.

Have you had any spots come back? Any tips to get rid of them better? Any advice would be great. I'm sick of these angios, and ready to feel 'normal' again down there.

Thanks.

i believe spots do come back. for those of you who only see a couple spots, have you pulled your skin to inspect it even more? i noticed that i have MANY of them.... very tiny....and i think they all slowly grow with time.... maybe it's just me though, but it's starting to become a pain... i used the solder method, but they're growing fast... depending on how low my balls hang, i see them more when they hang lower, but not as much when they're shriveled.

i have also gone to a dermotologist to have them removed, they do grow back, and it actually hurts with the laser, so it's normal for it to hurt when you use the soldering iron... just touch it one second at a time, but if it's too much come back to it another week....
