Hi guys
I went to a dermatologist today, he injected my ball sack with about 5 or 6 anaesthetic injections (that was the most painful part) then spent 5 minutes zapping the things.
I live in Australia and after medicare rebates it cost me less than $100 for the consultation and the procedure.
He said i might have to go back for another treatment as he only got 90% of them, and they WILL come back (as I had them lasered off before and it cost me over $1000 and they came back within a year), but if I only have to pay $100 every 6 months to get this under control, then I'm happy, cos to be honest, zapping them myself i'm too scared to do.

Hey Guys, I found this forum a few years ago and have returned a few times.   I figured I'd join the discussion and tell you of my personal method in removal of these unsightly problems.   Let me tell you that I've tried the soldering iron and even a disposable cauterize pen (with numbing cream).  The heat alone scared me to death;  I was able to get past that only with the cauterize pen-- well sort of. But too hot and too scared I guess so i gave up on them.  In short, I was defeated by fear from the heat of both those sources and couldn't apply them myself.  Then my answer came and I found my method that is painless, yet can be a bit bloody-- but one can prepare for that.  The reason the spots exist is they have a dome protecting them.   One has to get the dome off for it to heal normally --which it will with the process I'm about to explain--So this is what i did (and will do if needed again- but no new spots since a month and my balls look great) to remove my angiokeratomas from my ball sack.

First I went on eBay and bought wound sealer powder.  One may really not need it-- but its what I used.   Secondly you need a pair of tweezers.   I used tweezerman set and it worked perfect.  Step 1.) Take the tweezers and grip the dome portion of the angiokeratoma.  Now this won't hurt as there is no nerves in the dome--but its gonna bleed so have the wound sealer ready or a good amount of paper towels to soak up any blood.   Step 2.)  Once you have a good snug grip in your tweezers, fully commit and squeeze hard and pull away hard. (you may have a bit of adrenaline from this but its ok and normal--just relax)  Now this will do 2 things.  It will remove the dome and secondly bleed like crazy but thats ok-- That's what we want!  Step 3.) Apply the wound sealer powder.  The idea is once the dome is removed and the wound sealer powder is applied-- the dome won't be able to form itself again.  And the result is a complete healing with no visual appearance that it was even there.   I had a few that I had for years and this method worked great cuz I just couldn't get past the heat of the other methods.  For me this method was so much easier then all the heat methods others have used. In reality all you need is a good pair of tweezers and a bunch of paper towels.   Im just happy they are gone and thought id share my experience and method.   BTW, the small ones are hard to grip-- just try to as much damage to the small dome as you can.   I hope all you have great results with whatever method you choose.

I'm buying the supplies you mentioned and going to try this method. It makes sense that they have a dome protecting them. I just hope the results are good.

Well that's nice of you to say so! Ive had this problem for 3 years or more? Cant remember but my solution came to me out of the blue. I wish I had thought of it sooner. But, I have followed this blog for years, and Ive tried a few of the options given ( unsuccessfully ). Anyhow, my inner conscience kept bugging me to share-- so I did. I felt compelled to give my experience, and as detailed as I could possibly be. As the saying goes, " If I help just one person- It would be worth it." And that is true. In conclusion-- i'm excited to hear your results and I wish you all the success in the world. For me having to deal with a bit of blood, compared to a hot iron-- was a no-brainer! Soldering Iron or any heat was not happening for me. But, it has worked for many guys and one cannot deny that. There are many ways to destroy these, and If any other method works, then all the better! I had to share to give people another means to rid these unsightly pests. Looking back on the procedure, I think I will try it without the wound sealer powder. Simple compression might be good enough, yet the wound sealer worked well. And obviously cleanliness is paramount. Cheers my friend-- and let me know how it goes!

Hi inmotion348465,
Thank you for your comprehensive post on your story. I have the same problem for years. I'm interested to try your method. May i know what type of smoldering iron did you use? I see there are many different specs on sale, how much V level and Watts is appropriate?

Ok I tried doing a small one without wound powder, and it takes along time for the bleeding to stop. I tried cayenne pepper, which worked, but make sure you dont touch anywhere else other than the spot your working on. Im not doing anymore until I get the wound powder. I hope it heals ok otherwise.

Yes they do bleed rather a bit, but indeed --they are blood blisters. What worked for me was a solid 10 minutes of compression. And I just held it there without looking at it. If you take the a peek, then your time starts over because it can start bleeding again. So try to leave it in place as long as you can. I used paper towels and its hard to explain without being graphic --but Ill just go ahead and say how I used compression. Basically grab the sack ( not your balls obviously ) and pinch it together with your fingers. With this method you will have total compression of the blister from the top-- and from the bottom. Think of it as a ballon and you are taking your thumb and index finger and meeting in the middle of the balloon. Its a pinching technique where your thumb and finger meet with the skin in-between . The skin is thin and I think 5-10 minutes of pinching should be suffice. Mine cleared up really fast and it was like they were never there to begin with. I was thrilled! It was fast -- some had been there for years and then gone overnight. You can treat it like a shaving nick and leave the paper towel attached. Good luck and I appreciate your results regardless of your outcome.

I was thinking, couldn't I just use a nail trimmer that way its a clean cut and no missed dome skin left behind?

I have actually tried that and didn't have great results due to the fact of the curvature of nail clippers. If the clippers were opposite of the normal curve it would work great. And the one time I tried that it bled like crazy and still came back. I guess I just couldn't get complete removal of the dome with the nail clipper. And I feel better not having anything sharp near my balls. But, if It works for you then all the better. For me it did not.

Basically any cream that has retinol that thickens the skin. It helps me with the combination of the acid.
