i am so scared right now.
so i had my last period on the 20-24th of july, much to my relief. then, (im kicking myself while saying this) i had sex again on the last day or so. i took the morning after pill, which should have worked (and, not to mention, that i wasnt in ovulation for another 10-14 days). Again, huge relief. Then, out of pure stupidity, although i promised myself i wouldnt do it, i did it again. we did the pull-out method, and he didnt even come close to getting any...you know...in me. then today i did some research and found out that there might be sperm in pre-ejaculation. then, partially b/c i realised that i might be screwed, my boyfriend and i did it again. when i got home i noticed the gross brown stuff in my underpants. (btw, we've decided to lay off the sex from here on out)
im freaking out and hating myself.
i cant have a kid yet.
idk what im doing.
i dont know what 2 do w/my newfound sexual activity. thats partly y im posting this. i need 2 no if im pregnant or not w/o waiting another 2 weeks in hell.

Hey all, I just read through these and wanted to say I have seen a few different doctors and an acupuncturist about a similar problem. Mine was not just old brown blood, but also sometimes just lots of spotting of fresh blood. This has been going on on and off for a couple years. At one point I was spotting so much that I was basically bleeding for the majority of my cycle. I would stop spotting a few days before my period and start back up a couple days after. Sometimes it was hard to tell if the spotting was the start of my period or not because it was heavy spotting. Anyway, with all this said often it was old brown blood too. Two doctors sloughed it off and said the only solution since my PAPS came back normal was to get on BC pills to regulate my period. This is not an option for me because I would rather naturally regulate my hormones rather than through artificial means. Plus, I felt this was masking an issue rather than treating it. Our bodies should be able to regulate our hormones on their own if we are healthy. So I finally went to another doctor who found a very small polyp on my uterus through an ultra sound. She said this could be causing the bleeding, but is probably harmless and will heal on its own. I went to another doctor who confirmed this and said either live with the spotting or get on the pill. I chose instead to see a Acupuncturist. Again, I was told it was probably fine and he began working to bring my body to a healthier place so my body could help balance the hormones on its own. So far it seems to be working. My spotting went down to only a few days a month around ovulation (which is normal). So with all this said, it could very well be a very normal thing if your hormones are just a little out of whack and its best to find a natural way to help your body have the resources to bring this balance back naturally. If you are lucky enough in your area to have something called Community Acupuncture, this could be a wonderful affordable way to get acupuncture treatment. Generally it is either sliding scale payment or around $15 - $25 per session, which is really amazing!! It is designed to give people with out the financial resources access to affordable natural treatments. Just look up community acupuncture. Hope this was somewhat helpful. Or eased your minds a little. An additional note, I have been vegetarian for 15 years and was recommended to start adding more healthy fat in my diet through coconut oil, fish, etc because in order to create hormones we need fats and proteins. Seems like a good place to start.
