Hello--

Last weekend, my husband and I had the dreaded condom slippage the day before I was to ovulate (I have a 26-day cycle). I went to PP the next morning after a near-sleepless night and was given Plan B. I was told it's effectiveness in my situation was nearly 95 percent. I hadn't worried too much until this afternoon (seven days after taking Plan B) when I noticed very light, brown spotting that stopped almost as soon as it started. I immediately worried that this might be implantation bleeding. I feel a little crampy but as yet have not started a period. I have a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old and just went back to work last month. Needless to say, I'm a bit freaked out by the possibility I might be pregnant, still. I know there's a higher chance of pregnancy with multiparous women.

Are these symptoms/signs likely caused by Plan B, or am I in for Baby No. 3? (I hadn't meant that to rhyme...sorry)
Thanks
the same thing happened to me but i do not have any kids... were you pregnant after it? although i took the pill before 24 hours of unprotected sex and i am pretty young so i do not want any kids.

%-) My husband and I had a miscommunication which led to the need for the pill. I took the pill late morning/very early afternoon the following day, so it was well within 24 hours. I was within a week of my last menstral cycle ending. I know that seems early in ones cycle to worry about unprotected sex, however I have become pregnant in the past with very similar timing, so rather than worry we decided to use the pill.

Within a few days (3) I started the same kind of bleeding (brownish spotting) as described by the women above. The only thing is it hasn't stopped. It has been going between the brownish spotting to regular type mentral bleeding cycle then back to the spotting. It has been about two weeks now with no break.... and today again I have full symptoms of my menstral cycle. Heavy bleading, cramping, etc. Since I took it pretty close to the ending of my last cycle I feel as if I have had my period for nearly three weeks and am really getting TIRED OF IT.

I am wondering if anyone else has had this experience and wonder if this is anything to worry about. For reference we have had three pregnancies in the past and am 39 years old.

Thanks

Hi all, I took plan B on Feb 14. I was supposed to get my period on March 01 and missed it. From March 15 till today I have been spotting brown. It never stopped completly. My breasts felt tender since march first week and its like that till today. I know that I am not pregrant. I strongly regret for taking plan B and messing up my cycle totally. As much as I want to get pregrant, my partner is completly against it. I had to undergo an abortion 6 months ago and not out of the trauma yet. I feel horrible. I am 33 and i hope i don't end up into any complications when i really want to get pregnant... :-(

Hi everyone

I took plan B about a week ago, after having unprotected sex (stupid me.) I don't have kids, as I'm a university student. However, now I'm noticing some spotting that is pretty heavy, and it's about the time I am ovulating. Although I'm pretty sure it's just abnormally heavy mid-cycle bleeding, the heaviness concerns me a little. I have no PMS symptoms, which I always get with a period, and quite severely to boot. So even though I'm pretty sure this is not my period.. I'm hoping this spotting clears up soon and doesn't mess up my cycles, which average around 30 days. Has anyone else got mid-month bleeding that requires a thin pad? How long did it last? Any answers would be great, because I'm not  sure what to make of it right now :(
