Spotting off and on for almost a week

Hello, I do believe you should go see a doctor because you never know what might be causing this. I, for example, had my period the 20th of July and ended July 25th, had unprotected sex the 29th and on the 2nd of August, I discovered my underwear stained with drops of red blood. I wiped myself and saw pinkish with brown blood and some clear discharge. My first reaction was concern because I've never spotted between periods. I visited the doctor, who tested me for any stds, which might have caused the bleeding and it came out negative. Now I have to wait til the 20th to see if I get my period. If not, I was told to make an appointment for a pregnancy test. I don't think its implantation bleeding in your case, since you say you have been spotting off and on for a week, unless it is your period acting out. Good luck to you.
