I have been having stabbing feeling in both ovaries for over a year. I have bee treated for PCOS for six months, but right after I finished treatment feeling came back, like I never had it. I am worried that is something more serious like ovarian cancer, perhaps? I haven't had scan since I finished treatment, I am waiting for that still? Anyway, anyone here who would like to share similar experience? I am 27 years old, female

Well, I haven't been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, but over the past year, things have become worse for me too. I have constant lower back pain, stabbing feeling in right ovary area and weight loss and then weight gain for no reason. I was told that I have IBS, but they never did tests. Well, I had a PET scan done and though my right ovary was in range for size, it was double the size of my left ovary and both ovaries were producing a lot of blood flow. I have never been pregnant, nor am I now. My sister was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer, but she was treated last year for endometriosis. She said that symptoms of endometriosis can mask ovarian cancer, so I asked that they check my ovaries since we have a family history of cancer.
