liquid There are many ingredients that help with the urinary tract's healthy function. My symptoms practically vanished, but mine did eventually turn out to be tiny unseen kidney stones, which I learned when I passed one big enough to see! Some of the ingredients will help your kidneys melt away kidney stones (if they are of a common kind). That's just what ended up working for me!
If it also helps, it also turned out that I am allergic to latex and in general very sensitive downstairs, and have a bit of a yeast problem I've contracted from my spouse. We're both working on that now and things are much better. :D

Hey ladies, and a couple gents. I have suffered from pain in my urethera since I was 3 years old. It has been completly debilitating when it flares up. I had 2 uretheral dilations when I was 5 and 7, they helped but the problem would come back too fast to justify continuing with dilations for my whole life.
I discovered tea tree oil after scouring the internet for ANYTHING that could help. the only thing i had found up til then was smoking pot. I had to take it with me everywhere just incase it flaried up when i was at work or in the car or at a club. I hated having to travle with weed, it was just hard to mentally know i could be in trouble with the law if I was stopped and searched for any reason.
Tea tree oil has SAVED MY LIFE and given me freedom like I could never dream was possible... and so simple! I know it is used (as is Clove oil) to make tooth pain more tolerable. I work with essential oils as a Massage Therapist so I have always had it in my office. I use coconut oil as a carrier oil. I also put a couple drops of clove oil in the mix as well. My recipe is something like this:
10 parts coconut oil
3 parts tea tree oil
.5 parts clove oil
Mix in a dark brown dropper bottle that is glass for propper storage.
When I apply the oil to my urethera when I am having pain the pain can go from a 8 on the pain scale down to a 0. I cried the first time I experienced it. I was so relieved and greatful to have found something to take the pain away. I carry it with me at all times now. I leave the pipe at home, finally!
I know some people think it is harmful to use teatree oil but to me it seems a much safer option to valium, pain killers, lidocane creams and any other drug or antibiotic a doctor may prescribe. DONT USE STRAIGHT TEA TREE OIL!! That would definetly hurt. Coconut oil is a natural anti inflamitory and should help with the urethera pain too.
If anyone tries this and has success as well please post about it. I got my life back and hope that it helps you too!

It feels like my urethra is being twisted for a couple minutes then the pain goes away. From the looks of it, it sounds like this is a reaction women can have without there being a larger problem. It sucks, but it may just be a natural reaction. If anyone is experience long periods of pain, do not hesitate to see someone though.

Please research kidney stones as I have experienced the same thing only twice in my life and I truely believe this is what it is or the cause. It feels like someone is stabbing me with a sharp needle over and over and over again in the area where the pee comes from which is called the uretha. I have no burning when I pee it happens just when I'm walking around or sitting and and the end of my pee session..no fever, headaches, no frequent peeing, nausea none of that..

Thought I'd let you know that this is a new symptom for me and I already know it is neurological in nature. Every week it seems to be something new. This week the bladder seems to have been affected by the autonomic neuropathy. You may want to check out that aspect if nothing else works for you.

Hey, I noticed your post, I am also 17 and I habe suffered from Urinary Tract Infections since I was 14, when I was 14 I also got the contreceptive implant and about 2 weeks ago I also started taking the mini pill to prevent excessive bleeding due to the implant. However, since starting taking the mini pill I have been experiencing the same dull pains, it feels like I'm bruised in the urethra, like I'm being stabbed everytime I go pee, It doesn't hurt to pee, but when I stand up, I feel pressure in my stomach, my belly bloats up and I feel like something is hurting me down below. I am currently on Metrodonizole, which is apparntley treating Candida (thrush) which I get due to long term antibiotics, but the tablets aren't working. I started taking D-Mannose yesterday and noticed a difference in the colour of my urine but not in the pain, I am sorry to be blunt but you are the first person I've come across, also my age, suffering from this hell! I have added my email, I hope to hear from you if you have since found any solutions.
Thanks, Jen.

I know this was a while ago, but I am replying just in case this will help anyone. I am on ortho tri cyclen and have been suffering from reoccurrent uti's and bladder infections. I don't have any infection now but I experience burning in my urethra. I have been to a urogynecologist and the hospital, on antibiotics and on pain killers. The burning is still there. I'm thinking its from the birth control, even though it wasn't always this way, but it's wonrth a try to stop.
I have been seeing a very skilled and experienced herbalist who practices Traditional Chinese Medicine. He gives me a powder which I mix with water and drink 2 x day. He told me that many times antibiotics only kill about 85-90% of bacteria and infections wil reoccur. So the herbs he gives are supposed to clear our my whole bladder.
If you can find somone skilled in alternative medicine, I think that it is worth a try. Herbalists, accupunturists, even chiropractors. Some people are very closed minded to this, but when you are suffering, you will try anything, and many time people have been helped and seen relief. I stress the importance of a skilled practioner, because just like doctors, there are good and bad.
I also pray to Gd a lot and ask for mercy and forgiveness. I know He listens and wants to give us only good things. This has helped tremendously, especially emotionally.
I pray for eveyones speedy and complete recovery. <3
