I am 54 male born with mild cerebral palsy on my right side. No motor control of right ankle foot and toes. But highly functional and very active in sports. That is until Doctor injected 20 mg of the above steroid into my my right small toe joint. That was 3 half months ago.
Within weeks of this injection the muscles in my cerebral palsy effected paralyzed foot, ankle and leg were extremely weakened; my long time heel toe gait turned into a flop step. Next the steroid destroyed the muscles around my right hip. I am a skeleton today and still feel like the myopathy is in attack mode.
Any chance my right side muscle fibers can be near normal again with PT etc?
