Amen to this, hello just wanted to comment on this, I'm 30 and suffering from anxiety attacks for 2 months, and have all the symptoms everyone is experiencing including dizziness and light headed, I'm shaking and in panicking almost every day. The worse is when in the middle of my stomach feels tight as if someone is choking me and feels if I'm loosing my breathing and it gets harder and harder to breath. I deff agree wit u, we go through a process where God not only wants us to get closer to him or to find him, but to trust in him in everything, this is where we are tested espiritully some will pass and some of us will struggle and keep as is. Prayer and comunication with our father in heaven is the anwser to the solution, God Bless everyone and will pray for our healing, never loose hope that is downfall to getting worsed.

Hi I am 41 years old I also have severe panic attacks since I was 9 years old. I just had them out of no where or also have them when I eat. Some certain food trigger my panic attacks. I feel like I can't breath and my arm will sometimes go numb and or my feet, leg. I even felt like butterflys in my stomach or i felt it in My brain even though the doctor said its imposible. But every year it was different my panic attacks. I learned to deal with them. I started to walk everyday to get my body tired. I saw how it helped me alot. I keep a journal of what I ate or what I do each day. So when I have a panic attack I always compare what I did that day and what I ate. It helped me alot. I had every test done for so many years I was tired. Everyone has different panic attack not everyone has them the same. I learned not to eat meat like pork or beef..I ate chicken but organic with lots of vegtables. And small portions of chicken..It has help me so much. I now rarely get panic attacks once in a while I do. I use to get them everyday. I am so very happy I changed my eatting habits and exercise. My son started at 15 years old the panic attacks and I have gave him my journal to help him. He now exercise and does the same thing like me. Now he has not had an anxiety in a while. He is now 17 years old and has been doing very well. He get one once in awhile. I hope this helps some. I know how it feels..you are not alone.

You need to ask for a nuclear test on your gall bladder. My daughter had this and I had to make them test her. She was only 16 but I knew thats what it was. Sure enough they did the test and hers was completely shriveled dying.

I cured myself!

I ate a full meal and suddenly, my stomach was over extended, and I couldnt get a breath in! I didnt know what was going on. I decided to not eat for the whole day, and suddenly, it started happening when I went to sleep at night. I figured out, it wasnt what I was eating, it was anxiety/Stress/panic attack.
I went to youtube and searched for yoga in bed, I did couple of exercises, and my whole body was stiff/tense. I would be tense/stiff, eat, and my stomach would just tighten up and I couldnt breathe. So, I decided to just relax my body, and I felt so relaxed after doing some yoga exercises in bed. To this day, I stretch until I feel relax before I eat. It lowered my stress levels and I am able to eat normally now. I do feel a little full, but I can breath fine now.
I have been doing yoga in bed exercises for 3 days, and I have eaten full meals, with out that pesky panic attack.

Hi,
I see that your post is over a year ago, and i was wondering if you came to any more insights that helped you solve your problem. I am having a similar problem after having a stroke a few months ago. Without reading more information about what you have been experiencing, it is hard to know how far or close the scenarios we are individually going through are. So I caution that my situation may well be totally different from yours. However, I was searching on google for info on the same thing that you described. I too feel exasberated at trying to operate like this. Perhaps sharing what i am experiening may help either one of us.
Too often during the day, my breathe gets shallow and i cant take a full breathe. I also often feel like there"s a rock in my throat. When i sleep, i need to prop myself up because especially when lying down, it becomes hard to take the in breathe and it feels like any room in my chest seems to collapse so that i cant breathe at all pretty much. If i am asleep when it happens, my body wakes me with adrenaline in panic and i am gasping. At that time i feel weak, dizzy and sometimes everything goes white and i feel i am going to loose conciousness. It can come on strongly after j eat and is accompaied with a tight chest, and sometimes also a strange bodily weakness and trembling of my organs, bowls and legs ( but my hands not skaking at all). Yet the one position of lying on my stomache seems to instantly relieve the pressure and allows me to take a propper breathe.. Unfortunately i cant lie on my stomache to sleep because it hurts my neck and lower back. Anyway, i hear your frustration because its such a nightmate for me too.
I decided to put myself on a liquid diet of smoothies in the morn and soups at night. That helped within a couple of days. But when i go to solids again, it continued. This led me to think of food allergies. But nope. It pretty much happens with any solids. Although granted, my body is sensitive at the moment so i am particularly sensitive to wheat, and to avocados for some reason. Over the last couple of months, the ups are getting more consistent than the downs, but i still have to be careful with portion size and what i eat otherwise i slip back.
A respiratory specialist that i saw thinks i need an operation to open my nostril because he thinks i am depriving my brain of oxygen because i am blocked on one side. Maybe, but i also recently met somone who has been going through same symptoms, and she said that in her case, it turned out to be a failure of the autonomic (voluntary) system which is usually linked to autoimmune diseases, which i too have. In her case, she had low blood pressure all her life then started getting higher blood pressure (same for me). All digestion and heart tests showed nothing until an angiogram, (which carries danger of stroke). They found a very significant blockage in her heart that the other tests didnt show. They disgnosed her with Neurocardio Syncope which is characterised with near or full loss of consciousness (In her case, she fell unconsious a few times after esting or drinking).
So i guess what i make of all of the above and how it relates to me is this...I am waiting on tests from my Rheumatologist to see if my autoimune disease is in play first. Then i will have another heart test (a TOE). But really i have gone back to what worked for me in the past being accupuncture, careful diet, natural medicine, chinese herbs (selectively). I figure that whether the stroke is causing my body to struggle or my auimune disease caused thr stroke, I need to heal myself by getting my body as healthy as i can. And some good hypnosis tapes help with the healing and anxiety caused along the way.
Hppe this post helps

Doctors love this ailment, it provides them the most income. Endoscopy and Upper and Lower GI tract income. The lie to you and 99.9% of the time "everything looks OK" is the result. Deep breathing is needed, and mindfulness&meditation. Especially when working or doing anything. The mind is doing two things at a time, tensing your stomach plus your other work. Take a walk and fully fully concentrate on the trees, houses, road, cars and DO NOT LET Your Mind daydream. 90 minutes or less you'll feel a relaxation in the stomach. Tell yourself if this happens, you have the solution, but it will take a year of concentration to get it under control. Doctors know all of this, but are greedy. If you cure it, go back to your doctor and ask him "will x,y,z work, I read it's a solution", if he says no, scream at him and leave.

hey guys i'm Siamand from Kurdistan and i have the same problem till now, but this girl replayed to some other persons on No More Panic and i tried it really i felt better and i advise you to try it
thats here what she post

Sorry that you're feeling bad! I get this a lot and you should try this: lie flat on your back. Breathe in deeply pushing your tummy out as far as you can. It will feel really tight. Breathe out while pulling your tummy in. DONT breathe IN and pull your tummy IN!! Pushing it out 5-6 times like this will distend the tight muscles. Your bretahing should feel better after your muscles relax.
Hope this helps!
