So about a week ago, I was in the bathroom. I felt a stinging sensation on the outer part of the labia minora, and when I checked it out it was what appeared to be an ingrown hair. I had a couple others in the same area, all sort of lined up, and two on the other side. I let it go for a night, and the next day the pain was worse. Every time I went to pee, take a shower, or wore anything tighter than my pajama bottoms - it stung. I tried cleaning it as best as I could and it just continued to get worse, the small bumps began to swell, and started to spread. At first I was horrified, looked into all of the possible problems, but nothing was really matching up. These bumps didn't start until after I shaved, and the razor I used was the only one I had and it wasn't very clean. The bumps have spread from the labia minora, around the perineum, and now I'm noticing them a little further down, I'm noticing a few more bumps that appear on the inner thighs, but it's more scattered, not in clusters like the rest. Also, these bumps have begun to crust over, I've been trying to keep everything clean but I'm really worried that it's a serious infection. I don't have health insurance and I don't have the money to go to a specialist. It's getting to the point where it hurts to walk, move around, sit, lay down, or anything. I've been using a hot compress which helps for a few minutes until the cloth I use loses heat, I tried using toothpaste on the bumps that were more scattered and it helped, after putting me in tears. I'm at a total loss, and incredibly worried. As far as my past sex life: I've had a few long-term partners, and a few on the shorter end of the spectrum. All of which were free of any STDs and STIs. I've had the same partner for the past four months, and this is the first time anything like this has happened. I also searched pictures of folliculitis and that's what it looked like in the beginning, though now that it's spread, I'm not sure what to do or how to describe it other than a small row of clusters, sore to the touch, painful, they pop with little to no resistance, and they are ruining just about everything for me at this moment.
