I just started having that sensation a few hours ago, for the first time. I felt stupid even using google to find out what it was . I'm not stressed, not constipated, sit more than I should i'm sure - 73 retired sedentary. weird. glad I found out i'm not alone. I'll call the Doctor on Monday - reading the comments seems to validate my "problem" but no real answers that I can see

I'm glad I'm not crazy, I can't figure out what it is but I'm glad to know that other people have actually experienced it.

This has been happening to me all day long and while it is not painful it sure is weird. Do we know what this is? Could it be that the Kundalini chakra is being activated?

Drink plenty of water. Donot drink coffee and tea. Do yoga specially Suryanamaskar and walk after lunch and dinner. You all will get relief from this distracting problem.

My doctor diagnosed this as a condition called tenesmus...suggested heat locally, like a warm bath, gentle massage to sphincter muscle, irrigation with warm water using a large bulb syringe after a bowel movement, and magnesium oxide 400mg. He said it should be better within the week. He's a great doctor! Go see a real doctor, not just Dr. Google!
