I get this same type sensation with an eye lid or nerve in my cheek. Sometimes my thumb will get a little twitchy sensation or the side of my stomach. I'm thinking it's just a nerve gone whacky and hoping it goes away in a few days. Thats about how long my eye twitches.

I have this too!! Only started recently...and coffee theory seems to be making sense as recently ive had alot!
Also previously (pre baby) i was very much active and now hardly ever go to the gym...not sure if that plays a part? Anyway...pls keep up the posts....a brilliant way of trying to find a cause!!

I only drink decaf coffee, so it's not coffee. I have tried prep H with no help. I have taken allergy pills, Advil and also worm medicine. LOL I have done everything. Taken Hot baths, sat in massage chairs to relax. Everything under the sun. What has taken care of this irritating problem is Pro-Biotics

Yea I agree... I have bn having inflamed hemroids for the last two months for some reason... and every since, I've been having movement like a jumping nerve in my anus and If I lay down I can feel it in my stomach as well

Well at least I know I'm not crazy! Same exact tingling. At first I thought it had to be something like parasidic worms, the sensation felt like something crawling around/in/out of my anus. Such a weird sensation.
I had this buzzing/tingling sensation for about three months then it disappeared. I was so happy . . . for about five minutes! That's when the severe burning during bowel movements started. It's awful, absolutely miserable!
I have no real answers yet. I'm leaning towards it being either hemmoroids or an anal fisure. Has anyone else experienced this sequence of symptoms?

Not to alarm but it's parasites.... America is over run with them from the daft food bad dieting and all the meat we eat. Also gmo grains pasta breads give you rope worms it's disgusting there's four stages one looks like a jello fish and uses gas to push and move it's self around if you have ever owned dogs chances are you got em! I do coffee enemas and you wouldn't believe all the gunk that is thriving up there stop antibiotics !!! Do to worry about this. It happens periodically. Just take a hot soak. Add Epsom salt if you need or want but gently push the hemorrhoid inside while soaking. This will solve the problem I have it too no worry

problem solved! I have ibs too and this buzzing was seriously driving me nuts and then i drank some tea with chamomile, fennel, licorice root and ginger root in it and 10 minutes later all the buzzing went away and i felt good too! try it!
